SOLO Wilderness First Aid

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) creates a solid foundation in the basics of backcountry medical care. It is 16 hours long (two days), and focuses on the basic skills of: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies.

This is an incredible course! Not only will you gain the skills you need to care for people in a remote location.  But, you will have a fantastic time…it is fun and fast-moving.  There will be a mix of classroom sessions, practice sessions and outdoor scenarios. Check out some of the program reviews!

Instructor Nancy Zane has over 25 years of working, teaching, and playing in remote environments.  In addition to teaching emergency medicine for SOLO she is the founder of North Star Adventures!
